Aand it's off to adventure!

This fire tornado is unrelated to the post...
but it is cool and we did see it last weekend.

It's been over a week since my last post, and it'll be another week before I can post again. I'll be mostly out of internet range, for, over the upcoming recess break, Rose and I are heading to Malaysia to do some exploring and adventuring!

Yesterday we went and found the Singapore train station to book our rail passes. This venture was an awe-inspiring example of Murphy's law. The rail station took over an hour to find despite Google's straightforward directions (remember, asking people for directions here is not a deterministic act), the trains we had planned to book were full, I had to run through the rain to an ATM, etc. etc. As strong as Murphy's law is, the way still opened, and hours later, after numerous alterations of plan, we arrived home, tickets in hand, with our trip moved back 24 hours to avoid weekend train rides.

If the difficulty of this venture was any indication, the trip will not be simple and will not go as planned. That doesn't stop us from being packed and excited for our 10:30 night train tonight. Way will open and we'll have a great experience.
